Fine Art Student Juried Exhibition 2002

  • April 18 - May 4, 2002

The Parkland Art Gallery proudly announces the Fine Art Student Juried Exhibition at Parkland College. This annual exhibit presents a broad spectrum of media including, drawing , painting, metals, clay, design, photography, and sculpture. Open to all Parkland Students - this exhibit provides a forum for students to submit their work for exhibition.

This show is an excellent visual record of the learning that has been taking place all year. It is also a public recognition of the accomplishments made by these talented, dedicated and hard working students. A jury made up of members of the art faculty select works for the exhibit from a pool of approximately 500 submissions. The result is a collection of the best student work from the current school year. This last exhibit of the spring season is often the first exhibit for these emerging artists.

This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. Parkland is a section 504/ADA-compliant institution. For accommodation, call 217/351-2505.
